These people are morally lost--they're fascists, plain and simple. The plain and simple meaning of the term, gleaned from long experience in the 20th century. It's just the fact of the matter, and this is just one aspect of the proof thereof.
Yeah, fellow lefties, I know all about Hillary, Obama, the 2.5m deportations under Obama, and all the rest. I get it. I get how neoliberal Democrats helped open up the political space for a Trump. I get it all--and this is still worse, even if Jimmy Dore, that epic fool I choose from many to stand for the usual Lefty "lesser-evil" insanity, still wants to reserve full outrage for Evil Hillary. Who was awful...just not as much as Trump.
Simple facts, people. And simple concepts, too--like, say, "triage": stop arterial bleeding (Trumpian fascism) before you work on the chronic, ultimately fatal disease (neoliberal Democrats, among others).
I'm sorry for adopting the objective stance and language of medicine and science there and applying it to politics. We all know that's next door to Auschwitz, after all. And we all know that "science" and "medicine" are just socially constructed networks of power authored, consciously, by Dead White Males.
As opposed to social construction itself, which is of an epistemic provenance lightyears beyond that of, like, science, and shit.
