Bush Admin Nuclear Weapons Development Policy
Here's what they have in mind for us (PDF). Some explanation from In These Times, with the following amazing fact: "Nearly 20 years after the Berlin Wall crumbled, the United States is allocating more funding, on average, to nuclear weapons than during the Cold War."
This strategy of building new nuclear weapons, while dismantling treaties -- including stopping START; the Non-Proliferation Treaty (exceptions for India, Israel, and ourselves -- along with most other nuclear powers) and Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty (killed for "Star Wars") being basically dead in the water, except when useful for the US to invoke -- is completely insane and a far bigger threat to Americans (and everyone else) than Iran. Of course.
How many Americans know about this stuff, do you think? Exactly. Keep shopping.
